I’m a nurse by training and a writer at heart, mother to four (by birth and adoption), and live with my family in the metropolitan DC area. I’m originally from the Midwest, my mother was from Europe — so if I go to a church potluck, I just might take baklava.

I started writing many years ago while I was still working in the ICU and since then, became a staff writer for Coffee+Crumbs and later started a freelance business writing and editing.

Naturally curious, Ilove learning about the topics my clients bring to me. I find so much joy in helping others bring forth their words, stories, experiences, and expertise into the world.
